Katrina’s Barbie dolls will be available on all Indian stores from 20th March onwards.

Katrina has decided to give the first batch of Barbie’s to her niece Maya and Farah Khan’s triplets Anya, Diva and Czar.

Katrina stated “The first doll will go to my sister’s two-and-a-half year-old daughter Maya because she is obsessed with Barbie. I’m going to London for a couple of days for work. I’ll give her the doll then.”

She will also give the doll to her directors Farah Khan and Zoya Khan, Kabir Khan’s daughter Sairah and all her friends in the film industry.

Katrina added “It’s a very special moment for me. It’s the first time that an Asian actress has been chosen to feature in the Barbie range.”

The actress said further, “My sisters are more proud of this achievement than of any of my films, which they don’t have much knowledge of.”

She said, “But who hasn’t heard of a Barbie doll?”

Farah Khan bolts from operating room during nasal surgery

She has already postponed nose surgery once (last week). This time (yesterday morning, to be precise), Farah Khan bolted from the operating theatre when a thick needle was inserted through her nose!

Says Farah, "I've had sinus attacks for a year now. However, it got really bad last week after I finished shooting for a song in Chandigarh for Joker.

I became so unwell I couldn't move. The cold had blocked my nose. I could barely breathe, let alone talk. My doctor advised an immediate operation to drain my nasal passage of fluids.

The first appointment was on Saturday but I chickened out as I hate surgery! I told him I'd show up Monday. I was on heavy antibiotics till then."

The scene on Monday morning, however, was nothing short of slapstick. "My doctor put me on local anesthesia. As I lay on the operation table, I saw this giant needle being inserted into my nose.

I panicked. The nurse offered to hold my hand but I was so scared by that time, that I would have no needle up my nose, at least as long as I was conscious!"

Off came her surgical gown, on came her clothes, out of her mouth came a few words to her doctor and then she bolted. "I later told my doctor I'd have the surgery after a week!

And he has to give me general anesthesia. And if I feel I'm getting better, I won't do the surgery at all. !"

FK then did a promo video shoot for Just Dance, a reality TV show she judges, that evening. All in a day's work!

Sonakshi Hip hop in Joker, Hip-hop meets desi bhangra for Sonakshi's song, Sonakshi Hip Hop Desi Bhangra, Sonakshi Sinha Hip Hop

Sonakshi Sinha is sure being pampered. When the actress who is shooting for Shirish Kunder's "Joker" got wistful at not having done any modern dance so far, choreographer Farah Khan, who was in Chandigarh to shoot a desi number, introduced a hip-hop section in it.

Akshay Kumar's song-and-dance with Sonakshi, meant to be a hard core desi number, was shot in the lush mustard fields of Chandigarh last week.

In the middle of the song, a hip-hop section was introduced, much to Sonakshi's delight as it was her first attempt at something western.

"Sonakshi was very keen on trying western steps. She was looking forward to grooving in 'Joker'. But when the first song and dance in the film turned out to be a desi item, she was disappointed. Shirish and Farah agreed to pamper her. And a hip-hop section was put in," a source said.

Farah Khan confirmed the inclusion of hip-hop in the song. "It's a situation where Akshay Kumar has returned home in Punjab from the US. There's a celebratory song and dance. It does have a very special hip-hop section."
